A ChickenSmoothie Play

Based slightly on some stupid play by Shakespeare that she had to learn at school

-SATU, a slim white wolf with mismatched eyes, is sitting in a field under a tree, looking exhausted-

SATU: -sighs- What a tiring day I have had. Moonlight is not pleased, Scruff needs to be kept happy, and it seems that Galaxy is doing his best too make everyone miserable. Oh woe, what is to be done?

*Enter SYMBOL, a grey and brown wolf wearing a green collar*

SYMBOL: -Cheerfully- Hello Satu, is it not a fine day to be alive?

SATU: I suppose so, if you are not keeper of the pack

SYMBOL: -concerned- What is wrong? It is not like you to be so displeased

SATU: -tiredly- Ah Symbol, I am worn out. Tending to a pack of more than 50 is no easy job. Each dog must be kept happy, fed and contented. They squabble and fight and I must reason with them. A good compromise leaves everybody angry.

SYMBOL: Can you not ask for help?

SATU: -smiles sadly- Sadly not. Most of my pack is busy tending to one thing or another, and those left must care for the pups. There is no one to help me I fear

SYMBOL: Then let me take the burden off your shoulders. I will be eager to help

SATU: -viciously- No! You have a duty to our queen!

SYMBOL: She will not mind, and I am not as busy as you think

SATU: You will be needed by our queen soon enough and I have already taken up far too much of your time. Be gone Symbol, and return to your duty.

SYMBOL: -angrily- Avian is a good and fair queen. She would not leave a wolf to suffer under the burden you do if she knew

SATU: -growls and turns away- Whether or not our queen would allow it does not matter, for it is your duty to cater to her every whim and desire. Stop this arguing, and hold you tongue, for you forget yourself. You are a servant to Avian, and that is as it must remain.

* EXIT SATU. SYMBOL appears angry*

SYMBOL: Such a fool is that fickle she-wolf to believe so mistakenly that she can mother the entire pack. They are but wolves of the night, wild and uncontrolled without a care what a single wolf believes. It is a dangerous thing for a she-wolf to do, especially such a pretty one as her.

*Enter DARK VINE, a black wolf with blue roses entwined around his body enters. SYMBOL does not notice.*

SYMBOL: -sigh- Such a pretty little she wolf she is. Why could she not care for me the same way I care for her?

DARK VINE: Perhaps because you have not proven yourself to be worthy of her love

SYMBOL: -turns around in surprise- Dark Vine? What are you doing here?

DARK VINE: I was looking for Satu, but it seems that she has already gone, and left a heart broken wolf in her wake, yes?

SYMBOL: -annoyed- I am not heart broken, nor do I wish to seek her affections. I am contended with our friendship as it is.

DARK VINE: Doesn’t sound that way to me. Why would it be such a travesty to at least attempt to seize her affections?

SYMBOL: I do not wish to damage our relationship.

DARK VINE: You’re afraid.

SYMBOL: -growls- I am not afraid!

DARK VINE: Say what you will, but your eyes betray the truth. You will never achieve anything if you continue to indulge in fantasies. Step outside the boundaries, and at least make an attempt to gain her interest. You are scared of damaging your relationship, yet you could make a future for the both of you together. Just think about it Symbol and you’ll figure it out soon enough

*Exit DARK VINE*

SYMBOL: -ponders- Perhaps he is right after all. Maybe I can make her love me…

*Exit SYMBOL. DARK VINE reappears*

DARK VINE: – evil grin- This is too good to be true! Soon Satu will hate Symbol, removing him from the picture, and leaving me to move in on this territory. Soon I shall rule the pack with Satu at my side, and I will become unstoppable!

An ode to Chickensmoothie
I own a wolf called Bloodlust
and one called Dark Vine too
In fact I own several wolves
like Symbol and Satu

Listen to me name a few:
Sweets, Flame and Malu
I own many many more
and a cat called Sandy too

Where did I find them?
Where can I get one too?
You wonder, then you ask
Well come and I’ll show you

Chicken Smoothie is this place
with adoptables in cyberspace
Wolves, cats, and rats as well
It’s here that even horses dwell

In Chicken smoothie all our pets
Are happy and all play
So why should you hesitate?
Adopt a pet today!

Gato and Avian
On a beautiful day, in a forest so bright,
A pretty cat walked through the dappled light,
Her walk was elegant, her head held high,
Her blue and green eyes fixed ‘pon the sky.

Then all of a sudden, the she-cat slowed down,
Her fur fluffed up, her maw drawn in a frown,
For between the trees, she was sure she had seen,
Another being, a wolf it would seem.

The cat blinked once, and then twice more,
And now she was convinced of what she saw,
She bared her teeth and let out a hiss,
For now she was certain that something was amiss.

There was a loud bark, and from behind the tree,
A large slender wolf was clear to see,
With pale blue fur and clear grey eyes,
The snarl on her faced turned quickly to surprise.

The she-cat let her fur lay to rest,
And as stared in amazement at her guest,
Then laughter wrung through the trees,
As both the animals fell at ease.

The cat stepped forward, her head raised to greet,
The wolf who stood over her by several feet,
The wolf bent down, and licked her ear,
For Gato and Avian were great friends dear.

Sun dog
If I were a sundog
And you my owner
What would you do?

Would you trade me away?
Or force me to stay,
In your trading folder
Where I’m left to decay?

Or might I stay
To frolic and play
To laugh and have fun
And bathe in the sun

If were a sundog
And you my owner
What would you do?

I hope you decide
To love and have pride
In this pretty little wolf
Who now sits by your side.
